In 2014, The Canadian Jewish News reported that Elituv “deals with the anxiety of knowing his son serves in a combat unit by going to visit him as often as possible.” He told the publication: “It’s been very, very difficult over the last three weeks to concentrate on work, and I’m quite happy to be here.” He added that it has not been easy for Noam, in part because they have limited family in Israel.
