Her profile notes that she attended the Gray Academy of Jewish Education in Winnipeg for high school, then a year at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and then a Bachelor of Arts degree at McGill University from 2010 to 2013. Her profile states that she was president of McGill Students for Israel, the co-chair of the student fellowship at the Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee while at McGill and involved with Garin Tzabar, an organization that helps people immigrate to Israel, often with the intention of becoming lone soldiers.
Schwartz’s profile states that she was a summer intern at Jason Kenney’s office in 2012, when he was the minister of citizenship, immigration and multiculturalism, and worked as a policy research intern at the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada in 2013.
Schwartz then moved to Israel, according to her profile, where she served as a “Non Commissioned Officer” in the Israeli military’s “Foreign Liaison Unit” from November 2013 to October 2015. Her description of the time states: “Completed full military service as a volunteer Non-Commissioned Officer in the Foreign Liaison Division of the Israel Defense Forces in Southern Command and Operations Branch. Served as Liaison NCO to Egyptian military, international peacekeeping forces and the United Nations. Prepared concise daily briefings for senior IDF officers and foreign military attachés, including review of intelligence materials.”
LinkedIn shows that Schwartz has remained in Israel since, working in a range of jobs, most recently as a freelance editor and writer.
