MICHELLE SIGULIM

Michelle Sigulim (formerly Michelle Katz) was described in a 2014 CityNews article as “a Jewish-Canadian woman from London, Ontario” and a “former Israeli soldier.” The publication noted that she “grew up in Canada, but when she turned 18, decided to join the IDF. She served for two years, before coming back to Canada to live permanently.”

Sigulim was featured by CityNews because she was visiting Israel amidst its 2014 assault on Gaza. The publication stated, “She also says the Israeli military makes every effort to warn the Palestinians of impending rocket attacks by sending out flyers two days before an assault to ‘let civilians know that you’re in a dangerous area, there’s stockpiles of missiles there, there’s rocket-launchers in your area, and we need to take them out and they say “please evacuate the area for you own safety.”’”

Sigulim is currently listed as a “Christian Speaker” on the Christian Women Speakers website. Her profile there states that her “salvation date” was in 1995 and that she “regularly attends” church in London, Ont., and adds, “If you’re feeling stuck in your spiritual journey and hunger for more, Michelle is the speaker you need to book for your next event. Her dynamic approach to teaching and storytelling will open your eyes to the wonders of the Bible and leave you feeling inspired to take your faith to the next level. With her Judaic understanding of the Bible, she offers a fresh and rich approach to studying the Bible.”

Sigulim is a grandchild of Sam Katz, a Holocaust survivor who is also the founder of Fleetways, a bowling alley in London. Sigulim’s father, Harvey Katz, wrote an article for All Israel News in January 2021 about her grandfather. His author bio stated that Harvey “found Jesus as his Messiah at 16 years of age.”
