Nico Slobinsky, 46-47, is a “VP at the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs,” according to his Twitter account. His bio on the CIJA site states: “Nico supports the local community’s advocacy goals working with the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver, community agencies, leaders in government, media, academia, civic society and other faith and ethnic communities across the Pacific Region.”
In December 2023, Slobinsky tweeted, “I am proud to be Jewish. I am proud to be a Zionist.
I am proud to be Latino. I am proud to be Canadian and Israeli. I am proud to have served in the IDF. I am proud of who I am. Nothing haters say will change who I am.”
An August 2024 post from the Jewish Independent states that Slobinsky is originally from Argentina.
