Darrell Ginsberg is a Canadian from Toronto who served as a soldier in the Israeli military, according to his LinkedIn.
Ginsberg’s profile also notes that he has worked in various health and science positions. His education includes a bachelor of science at Western University, a master of science at the Israel Institute of Technology and a “Family Medicine Residency” and “Hospitalist Fellowship” at the University of Toronto.
His profile states that he has worked in health-care positions in Canada since 2017. They have included: hospitalist at Halton Healthcare in Oakville, Ont., and Michael Garron Hospital; a family practice physician at North York General Hospital; a medical doctor at the Leaside Village Family Health Organization in Toronto. It also notes that he is a lecturer at the University of Toronto, and a co-founder of Unify Health, which he describes as the “first integrated ambulatory multidisciplinary medical and surgical center” adding that it has “grown to become Ontario’s largest integrated ambulatory care clinic.”
Ginsberg wrote a multi–part series of articles for The Jerusalem Post about his immigration to Israel. The first issue, published in October 2008, contains an author bio for Ginsberg stating, “Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Darrell finished his B.Sc at the University of Western Ontario and worked for a Toronto pharmaceutical company for 2.5 years. He began living the Canadian dream with a nice house, a fast car and a comfortable couch. However, he was never comfortable and felt a hole in his soul too big for even the largest plasma screen TV to fill. He resigned from his job and ended up in Israel learning at a Yeshiva in the Old City of Jerusalem for 5 months. During his time in Yeshiva, he decided Israel is where he wants to be and he made Aliyah in August 2005. He immediately began studying at the Technion towards his M.Sc and was drafted into the IDF in May 2008.”
