Yehuda Maes is a Canadian who moved to Israel and served in its military as a sergeant from July 2013 to July 2015, according to his LinkedIn profile. His service is also noted in a February 2025 tweet from his current employer, Norm Ai, which states that he was a paratrooper.
After his military service, Maes returned to Canada and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto from 2015 to 2019. Throughout this time period he also worked at Blackrock and CIBC. Then, he obtained a law degree from Harvard Law School, and has since worked at a range of legal and marketing jobs in the United States.
